Much about nothing...

Not much going on with us the past few weeks, so here are a few random pictures...

I made chicken enchillades the other night. I love this dish it is probably one of my favorites, and it is so easy. So, I took a picture...

Kayden (the ball player) and Lauren (the cheerleader)

Brecken giving baby some loving. I love how just tries to eat the babies head and poke out her eyes...

Her latest trick is putting her hands together over her eyes (for some reason only during mealtimes) and us saying, "where is Brecken" and then saying "Peeka-a-boo" when she moves them. She loves it, so do we.

Bathtime with the girls.

Yesterday we spent the day with the Easons. Seriously, I was giddy on the way to see them. We haven't seen them in 8 months!!! We were shocked when we realized how long it had been. Anyway, the guys worked, the kids played and Lindsey and I gabbed for about 5 hours straight. It was so much fun to catch up. I love them so much.
Here are ALL the kiddos in the tent...

Lindsey and I at dinner

They aren't related (yea right!!!)

Aunt Lindsey and B, oh and Lillie Anna (who will be here in about 5 weeks) yippee!

The kids onthe front porch. Rauly had some battle wounds from falling in the rain, and those are the only ones the rest. had...kind of funny.

Beach and 9 months

We had a great time last week at the beach with our family. My family, Mom, Dad, Terri,Granny, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Mike, Ryan, Kristin, Kinsey, Ashley, Rachel, Scott and Summer all went to Gulf Shores. We have been planning this trip for months and it was so relaxing. First, I LOVE the beach and everything about it. Second, I LOVE my family. We always have such a good time together. I am already looking forward to next year. I don't have a ton because I relied on Terri for a lot of pictures...good photograher + good camera = good pictures.

We took some family shots on the beach of course...

The whole clan...

Just the three of us

Having some fun

Kristin and Kinsey...not sure why it is foggy

Brecken climbed in the chair

We went to the zoo one day and although it rained we had a good time. I think Brecken wanted to get a hold of the animals!

Gettin' some Aunt Terri lovin'

She is getting so old

Brecken is now 9 months old...she had her check up today and weighed 17 lbs, and was 27 1/2 in. Everything was fine and we didn't even have to get shots. She also has her FIRST tooth, and I will try to get pictures up soon...I know you are on pins and needles waiting. So, here are just a few of random pics of Brecken and Kayden.

Nikki gave us this little push car for Brecken. She loves it and will put her hands on the wheel like she is really driving. She looks like a little old lady in this picture!

Trabacating and Video of BAH

This past weekend while we were in Indiana, Brecken not only got a little quicker on the crawl, but she started pulling up. She likes to do it a lot now. Such a big milestone, I just know walking is right around the corner...YIKES! Video at bottom, I know Grandmama wants to see this.

Also on our trip Kayden made her own word, and gave it's meaning. We could never figure out if she was trying to say some other word and getting it confused...
So, here was the conversation or something like it:
(I will also be translating)
KK: We need to hurry and beat. (In reference to making it back to my grandparents house before them after church)
Me: Oh really.
KK: Yes, we need to trabacate.
Me: What? Trabacate?
KK: Yes. (like, duh)
Me: Are you saying TraVAcate or TraBAcate? (like it matters)
KK: TraBAcate
Me: Oh. (staring at my parents like, huh?)
Me: What does TraBAcate mean?
KK: It means to win.
Me and my parents: Ok.

Move over Webster's, Kayden has her own set of words and definitions.

(the video is a little long, but it was my poor attempt to show some tricks. and excuse my country twang!)

Indiana Summer

Last Wednesday, my parents asked me and the girls to tag along to Indiana. My Grandparents live there and it has been 2 years since I have been, so I figured it was about time.
I always love going up there. We got to see some family, but we spent most of our time doing what we always do...sitting around talking. We usually sit on the front porch, but we always stay a little longer at the dinner table and at night we converse some more in the living room.
Indiana is so beautiful and GREEN! The weather was in the high 60's to low 70's. WONDERFUL!
We had a great trip and as always it was good to see our family. Thanks everyone for a wonderful vacation.

Aunt Donna, Emma, Kayden, Ellie and the rollie pollie...

Kayden fell in love with this rock 2 years ago...not much has changed.
She also decided to see the sidewalk up close and personal...oh the drama!
Aunt Terri made the trip to Indiana too.

My favorite place, the swing on the front porch.
Terri and I on the golf cart...we are actually moving while I am taking the picture.

Brecken found a new love...her own baby (thanks Aunt Terri)
Just a random picture I couldn't resist

On a different note...yesterday was mine and John's 7th anniversary! Sometimes that seems like a long time, others not so much. But, we have had some happy times, sad times and tough times, but we are a closer and stronger couple because of it. I love my hubby so much and am so thankful I have someone to take care of me and our girls. So, here are a few interesting facts(to me) that have happened in the past 7 years:
We got married!...we went to the Bahamas for our honeymoon...we have moved 8 times...we have had 10 vehicles btween the two of us...we have made 15+ trips from GA to TN/AR together...we have had 3 girls...we have always spent Christmas at our home...
I am looking forward to many years of more!
