Dr. Update

Brecken's test went fine today. If you can define fine as screaming for 15 min while three strangers hold you down, strap you ontop of an xray machine, catheterize you, fill your bladder with liquid until you pee all while the dr. snaps pictures. Yes, fun times it was not. We made it through and the dr. said from what he could see that the bladder was fine and not causing the hydronephrosis. Not sure what might be but we go back in 2 mo. for a CT scan. This will shed a little more light on that and also the kidneys. He said today, he just wasn't sure, and he sounded more positive and upbeat than a month ago. So...we will continue to pray that those nasty cyst will stay small and leave her alone. She is doing great though and we thank you for your prayers and concerns.

Funny videos of the girls

Kayden wanted me to video her while she was cheering. Listen close so you can hear what Brecken thinks about her cheer! And I have tried 3 times to turn it...sorry.

Brecken smiles a lot and is starting to giggle now. I finally got it on video. She is the sweetest little thing.

We head to the dr. tomorrow for Brecken's bladder test. Please keep us in your prayers. We wont find out results until next week.

Granny and Papa Lee

This weekend my grandparents from Indiana were here. We don't get to see them as often as we would like, so when we do, it is always nice. This was there first time seeing Brecken. Kayden and Brecken got tons of attention.
My Papa does a lot of woodworking and he made us a small chest. He also made Janeys memory chest. I will post them some other time.
Thanks for the visit, we love you! Aunt Donna and Aunt Bev(I know you check this), hope to see you soon.

Brecken at 3 months and Homecoming

This past weekend was Homecoming at my high school. We went to the girls game and then I played in the Alumni game. SCARY! Patience and I were the only ones representin' the class of '98. Nikki was cheering from the stands though. I convinced Audrey to play and we both scored. Michelle still kicked our butts! Anyway, I had a good weekend.
Brecken is 3 mo. now! She is so alert and happy. She smiles at anyone who will talk to her. I have made her laugh a few times and it is the cutest giggle. I will try to get that on video soon.

Here are a few things about Brecken:
She has blue eyes like her Granddady.

She loves her big sister, Kayden.

She has the most beautiful smile.

She loves sucking on her fists.

These are a few of my favorite things...about Kayden at 3!

I am way behind on posting about Kayden at 3. Here are some things I want to remember about her this past year.

-she will hold her hands up and tell you a is very animated!

-when you ask her a question, sometimes she will say, "Welllllll...."and then answer

-Kayden hates for her shirt to ride up in the back! It will cause distress, especially at night

-She got in trouble one day and was being very ugly, and I said, if you don't stop, I will beat (I -mean spank) your tail. Amid the sobbing, she said, "I don't have a tail, only Gunner (the dog) does."

-she copies what we say, WORD FOR WORD!

-She was at Nikki's one day and talked back to her...she has never done this. I was mortified!

-She hates to apologize, but is getting better

-At church, she and the other kids her age love to run around inside the building.

-Her favorite people to go see are GG, Granny, Lindsey and Reagan

-She weighs about 36 lbs, wears a 3T-4T and size 9 shoe

-She was so excited about Brecken coming. She would talk about her all the time. Now, she is a huge help. She is my little errand girl, and doesn't mind helping.

-she wants to be a cheerraider (cheerleader) when she grows up. She loves to watch them at the game and knows some of the cheers

-She can tell you letters of the alphabet and whos name starts with some of them. She was reading the tags at Christmas

-She can ride a bike with training wheels but all of a sudden is scared to ride it by herself...not fun!

-we will pass a resturant and she can recognize them by the outside or sign. her favorites are, Chick fil a, McDonalds, Red Lobster and Texas Roadhouse

-she does a great job playing by herself and has a great imagination

-she loves to make up words and songs

-she loves to sing! LOUD! there are days, she sings all day long

-she has a great memory and knows things from months or years ago and peoples names

-she asks a million questions everyday

-she called Ryan, "Kristin's babies daddy"

-John and I heard her telling her poop to get out of there...

-she is so thoughtful and is always making cards for others and taking presents to people. if someone is sick or hurt, she is very concerned

-she loves to help me make cookies (breaking them apart and putting them on the pan is baking right?)

-she loves to help me wash the dishes

-she hates to try new foods but usually ends up liking them

-crowds and new people make her have a little anxiety

-she asked me why Janey had to go to heaven

-she loves to use chapstick which she calls lipstick

-she can work the CD, DVD and TV by herself

-she will still crawl up in my lap for some hugs and kisses

-she tells us she is Daddy's girl and Brecken is Mommy's girl

-she says, "gurl", not girl

-We have to go in her room at night and wake her up b/c she is having nightmares and will cry and scream

-her favorite toys/hobbies are: babies/strollers, crayons/markers and writing, Dora/Diego, play kitchen and dress up

She has the sweetest, most genuine heart. I love her smile and her little giggle will make anyone laugh. It is hard to believe she is 3 already.

I love you Kayden.

When Laurie comes to town...

Laurie has been here this week and we were able to spend lots of quality time with her. And for some reason, there is always lots of eating while she is here. Of course, you wouldn't know that by looking at her. I have been doing so good watching what and HOW MUCH I eat, and then she comes to town and it all goes out the window. But those cookies and brownies sure were good. Oh yeah, the ice cream and pizza, too!
Thanks for coming to see us, we love you.

My sleeping beauty!

Do you see any resemblance?

Test results and family Christmas

Here are a few pictures from this week. We had family Christmas with my mom's family. Lots of fun.
Also, the dr., yes, the actual Dr. called John today and told him the test results came back.
All good signs. There was no blood in her urine and just a few proteins, but nothing alarming. Her creatnine levels were 0.4! That is normal!!!!!!
We will go for a bladder test on Jan. 23rd and then meet with him. We are so greatful for your prayers and we ask that you continue to lift up Brecken.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
